We at Primate, believe that a responsible business is one that ensures, as best it can, that products that it sells are produced ethically whilst not harming the environment. Therefore, any garment carrying our brand will only be made in factories that we are confident of their ethical work practices. For this reason we do not use factories in the Asian sub continent.
Our u4ia fabric has achieved the Oeko Tex standard, so no harmful substances are used, and is made in the Italy. Our factory is in Malta, so also in the EU. Other products are made in Turkey and our rugby kit is made in South Africa. Our new range of fair trade, organic & sustainable garments are from suppliers which have been passed as genuine by the Fairwear Foundation.
